Abstract: Objective To introduce the development of treatment for obstetric and newborn emergencies in Wujin district,summarize the measures to improve the treatment level.Methods The measures included to speed up the construction of “two centers”,build referral network,strengthen the coordination and linkage between departments,improve the prevention and control of pregnancy risks,strengthen the construction of information technology for women and children,and promote the implementation of work responsibilities.Results It has improved the success treatment rate of obstetric and newborn emergencies and reduced the neonatal mortality rate of pregnant women.Conclusion Establishing treatment network of screening,evaluation,consultation and referral of obstetric and newborn emergencies,which was responsible for upper and lower classification,coordinated linkage and efficient operation can effectively ensure the safety of mothers and infants.
