Abstract:
Objective To explore the relationship between
Resistin gene polymorphism and susceptibility to neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis(NEC),therefore to provide reference for better clinical diagnosis, treatment and reduce complications.
Methods 29 preterm infants with NEC were enrolled in the study, and a total of 35 preterm infants who were hospitalized in the same period were selected as a control group according to ratio of 1∶ 1.2.All the enrolled patients were Han nationality. Direct sequencing analysis by polymerase chain reaction(PCR) was used to check
Resistin Gene single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNP) Sites rs1862513,rs7408174 and rs3219175 Polymorphisms.
Results Compared with the control group, the genotypes of GG,CG,CC and C/G alleles of the SNP locus rs1862513 in the NEC group were statistically significant(
P<0.05). However, there were no significant differences in genotypes and allele frequencies between the SNP loci rs7408174 and rs3219175 in the NEC group(
P>0.05).
Conclusions The
Resistin gene SNP locus rs1862513 polymorphism is associated with NEC,but requires further research in a larger, multicenter clinical study.
