Abstract:
Objective This paper aim is to study the development approaches and research trends of pregnant women schools in China in recent 30 years and to explore the research ecological picture and the different kinds of practical paths that have been developed about Pregnant Women Schools in the era of new media.
Method 1061 articles about pregnant women schools from CNKI database in the past 30 years were collected and analyzed by Cite Space software of text mining and visualization in scientific literature.The development trend and the hot research topics of pregnant women schools are identified and visualized.
Result The development trend of pregnant women schools is from traditional single classroom teaching to the diversified teaching models,especially the application of new media and information technology in the teaching and management of pregnant women school. It was found that health education,breastfeeding and delivery modes have been the long-lasting hot topics. From 2012 to 2014,the impact of pregnant women schools on cesarean section rate has become the mainstream of academic research. And after 2014,the research has been focused on such topics as pregnant and delivery outcome,gestational diabetes mellitus and primipara.
Conclusion This article quantitatively visualized the information about the development of pregnant women schools over the last 30 years. We recommend that the following up study of pregnant women schools may pay attention to the impacts of pregnant women school on perinatal mental health,the standardized management of pregnant women schools in different levels of midwifery agencies as well as the application of new media and information technology in the operation of pregnant women schools. In addition,the research method in effect study of pregnant women school needs to be more scientific.
