Abstract:
Objective To analyze the incidence of high risk pregnancy and its relationship with pregnancy outcome, to provide scientific evidences for tracking management of high-risk pregnant women.
Methods The clinical data of 9358 women delivered in maternity hospitals in Wenjiang district between Jan 1, 2017, and Dec 31, 2017 were reviewed and analyzed.
Results The mean age of recruited women was 28.02 ±4.05 years old. The incidence of high risk pregnancy was 56.08%. The top 3 of the risk factors of high risk pregnancy were: the scar uterus, accounting for 20.83%, younger (≤18 years old) or older (≥35 years old), accounting for 17.93%, and gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), accounting for 17.61%. The incidence of high risk pregnancy increased with age, gravidity and parity. The incidence of premature delivery, low birth weight, fetal distress, cesarean section and postpartum hemorrhage was higher in high-risk pregnancy group..
Conclusion The incidence of high risk pregnancy in Wenjiang distric is high.Taking active measures according to high risk factors will help to improve the prevalence of high risk pregnancy.
