Abstract:
Objective This paper analyzes the current situation of children's healthy life in child care institutions in Shijingshan district of Beijing, and the main problems were analyzed in order to provide practical theoretical basis for determining the focus of health care work in nurseries and kindergartens.
Methods By using the method of cluster sampling, six child care institutions were randomly selected as target kindergartens, and a questionnaire survey was conducted among 1724 parents of all children in the target child care institutions.
Results ① Children had dietary behavior problems such as picky eating and excessive meal time (more than 30 minutes); ② Children liked electronic products and were exposed for more than 2 hours a day; ③ Children had problems with fall asleep late and lack of 10 hours sleep time; ④Parents had high awareness of overweight and obesity and were willing to help children to adjust their bad living habits; ⑤Children of parents who are willing to receive health education were not picky about food, and tend to spend more time at sleeping every day and ate out less often each week.
Conclusions In this survey, the leading decision makers of preschool children are mothers and fathers. Parents have a certain amount of knowledge about the detriments of obesity and the choice of food. However, they are lack of professional knowledge about nutrition and hope to obtain more and more of it through the Internet.
