Methods A total of 1500 people admitted to the gynaecology, outpatient, two cancer screening and physical examination departments in our hospital from September 2016 to March 2018 were selected as the subjects. Tthe surface plasmon resonance technique was used for HPV quantitative typing to analyze the epidemiological characteristics of HPV infection amongwomen in Gaozhou.
Results ① Among 1500 women, the HPV positive rate was 15.33% (230/1500). 260 cases of HPV subtype infection were detected, including 237 cases of high-risk subtypes (91.15%) and 23 cases of low-risk subtypes (8.85%). Among the high-risk subtypes, HPV 16 accounted for the highest proportion (23.08%), following HPV 58 (15.77%) and HPV 52 (12.69%). HPV 6 accounted for the highest proportion (5.77%) among the low-risk subtyoes. ② Among different age groups, HPV detection rate was the highest (31.54%) in <50 age group, following <40 (25.00%) and <60 (18.46%). ③HPV infection pattern was dominated by double infection, followed by one infection, and triple infection was the lowest. There was no significant difference in infection patterns between different age groups (
P>0.05).
Conclusion The positive detection rate of HPV among women in Gaozhou is 15.33%. The infection is mainly high-risk subtype and double infection rate. The highest age of infection is 40-60 years old. The women in this age group need to be paid more attention to.
