Abstract:
Objective To analyze the management situation and influencing factors of children born to pregnant women infected with syphilis in Huaihua,and to provide reference for improving project management.
Methods From the management information system of prevention of AIDS,syphilis and hepatitis B mother-to-child transmission,the data of children born to pregnant women with syphilis in Huaihua in 2013-2016 were collected and analyzed statistically.
Results From 2013 to 2016,the incidence of neonatal mortality,preterm infants and low birth weight among 617 infants born to pregnant women infected with syphilis were 6.48,9.56%and 6.65%,respectively. There were significantly higher than the incidence(2.8,1.86% and 4.12%,respectively) among the whole population in 2016.The rate of prophylactic drug use is increasing year by year. The follow-up rate was 88.91%. The follow-up outcome was obtained in 410 cases,and the follow-up outcome rate was 66.88%. 203 cases were missed,and the missed rate was 33.12%. Follow-up results were statistically significant among different age groups(
P<0.05). The analysis of influencing factors showed that maternal age,maternal education level,maternal marital status,management area,maternal anti-syphilis treatment,maternal standard treatment were related to the results of children's follow-up,and the difference was statistically significant(
P<0.05).
Conclusion The management of children born with syphilis infection in 2013-2016 in Huaihua has made some achievements,however,there is still a great distance from the national requirements. The future work will focus on health services for children with adverse pregnancy outcomes,strengthening the education of key populations,strengthening training for weak areas,and improving the tracking and management of outgoing children.
