Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of standardized post-abortion care(PAC) on contraceptive behavior of women.
Methods A total of 156 cases of induced abortion in our hospital from September 2017 to September 2018 were selected and divided into control group and research group by random number table method, with 78 cases in each group. The control group received routine abortion service, and the research group was applied standardized PAC service on this basis.Self-rating anxiety scale(SAS) and selfrating depression scale(SDS) were used to evaluate the changes of psychological status before and after intervention in the two groups. At the same time, the implementation of contraceptive behavior was compared between the two groups immediately after operation and 3 months after operation.
Results After intervention, the SAS and SDS scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(
P<0.05).The rate of contraceptive behavior execution in the study group was higher than that in the control group immediately after operation and 3 months after operation, and the difference was statistically significant(
P<0.01).
Conclusion Standardized PAC service can effectively improve the adverse psychological status of patients with induced abortion, improve the execution of contraceptive behavior and ensure reproductive health.
