Abstract:
Objective To analyze the present situation and problems of the "Internet +" technology at district and country level MCH institutions in China,and provide references for the development of the informatization for MCH institutions.
Methods From June to August 2018,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the use of "Internet +" technology in hospital health care services in district and county-level MCH institutions through the National Maternal and Child Health Comprehensive Information platform.
Results There were 1432 institutions included in this study. The first three "Internet +" technologies were the free provision of Wi Fi in the medical environment(35.1%),HIS and other systems to interface with the regional health information platform(27.0%) and related websites(25.0%). There were statistically significant differences between regions(
P<0.05). The top three convenience service were were hospital information inquiry(20.5%),medical guidelines(15.2%) and electronic prescription(13.2%). The proportion of "Internet +" special services for women and children was below 10.0%,except for 29.2% of online health education. In the“Internet + ”service for doctors and nurses,there were statistically significant differences between regions in checking the results of patient examination,checking and receiving the specimen by scanning the code,checking the delivery rate of drug infusion and code scan execution rate of doctor's orders.(
P<0.05). The top three problems were lack of professional technical management personnel,information security issues,and lack of standards and guidelines.
Conclusion The "Internet + Maternal and Child Health-care" services at the district and county level MCH institutions was in the initial stage. The utilization of "Internet +" technology and the provision of "Internet + Mother and Child Health-care" services were relatively low,and there were regional differences in the provision of some services.
