Abstract:
Objective To investigate the epidemiological characteristics of children respiratory Adenovirus(ADV) infection in Nanning.
Methods ADV was detected by indirect immunofluorescence method in the serum from 32 234 children with respiratory tract infection from July 2017 to July 2019. The clinical diagnostic information was collected and analyzed.
Results ①The positive rate of ADV was 1. 82%(587/32234) among 32234 children. The positive rate of boys and girls was 1.76% and 1. 92%,respectively(
P=0.308). The positive detection rate in 0-<6 months,6 months-<2 years old,2 years old-<5 years old,5 years old-<14 years old was 0.49%,2.63%,2.28% and 0.96%,respectively(
P<0.05). ② In Spring,Summer,Autumn and Winter,the positive rate of ADV was 1.8%,2.34%,1.24% and 1.99%,respectively(
P<0.05). ③Among 587 positive ADV cases,274 were diagnosed as pneumonia,104 were bronchitis,43 were acute pharyngolaryngitis,15 were acute tonsillitis,9 were acute upper respiratory tract infection and 142 were other non-respiratory tract infection.
Conclusion ADV is one of the important pathogens of children's respiratory tract infection in Nanning. Understanding the epidemiological characteristics of children's respiratory tract ADV infection in Nanning is of great significance to the prevention and treatment of children's respiratory tract diseases in this region.
