Abstract:
Objective To investigate the current status of reproductive health literacy among preconception women in Huangpu district of shanghai, so as to provide a reference for formulating intervention methods.
Method A total of 400 preconception women from premarital and preconception clinics of the Maternal and Child Health Institute of Huangpu District were randomly sampled with questionnaire survey from September to November in 2018 and from September to November in 2019.
Result The overall score of health literacy, as well as disease prevention and two core knowledge points as " the role of folic acid" and " folic acid taking method" of the respondents in 2019 were higher than those in 2018, and the difference was statistically significant(
P< 0. 05).
Conclusion The level of reproductive health literacy of preconception women shows a steady upward trend. However, the progress is not balanced in different fields. It is necessary to provide targeted health education and long-term monitoring.
