Abstract: Objective To study knowledge,attitude and practice(KAP) of applying traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) health care technology in the health management among parents of late premature infants. Methods Select the TCM parents of late preterm infants who adhere to follow-up at high-risk pediatric and TCM outpatient clinic in our hospital were recruited as study subjects. Special project management combined with TCM health care were provided to the premature infants for one year. Changes of KAP about applying TCM health care technology among parents of late premature infants pre-and post-intervention were observed. Results (1)91. 1% parents were willing to choose TCM for children's health care.(2) Differences about the rate of awareness,mastery,and utilization of TCM health care methods(rubing the belly,kneading the ridge and massage at Zusanli) for children pre-and postintervention were statistically significant(P< 0. 001). Conclusion Children's TCM health management can raise parents' awareness of TCM health care for children,meanwhile it is helpful for knowledge of children's TCM prevention and health care to be disseminated and utilized at grassroots. It is an effective measure to promote TCM health care for children.
