Abstract: The positive effects of vitamin K₂ on bone metabolism have been widely accepted and used in adults, but its effects on bone health in children have been poorly studied. Therefore, based on the existing literatures, this paper reviews the physiological characteristics of vitamin K₂, the mechanism of regulating bone metabolism and its association with children’s bone health, so as to provide evidence for research and application of vitamin K₂ in children’s bone health.
