Abstract:
Objective To conduct visualized analysis on the current situation, hotpots and trends of domestic and overseas research on gestational weight management, so as to provide evidence for research and clinical practice.
Methods Literature on gestational weight management published between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2022 were retrieved from Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform, China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI), Web of Science, and PubMed databases through computer-based search. CiteSpace 5.0 was used to visually analyze the literature keywords.
Results A total of 815 Chinese articles and 554 English articles were retrieved. The analysis of keyword showed that weight management focused on obese and gestational diabetic pregnant women, with nutrition management and physical activity as the core intervention, mobile health care and offline clinics as platforms, combined with weight, pre-pregnancy body mass index, blood glucose, body fat, exercise and other indicators for monitoring and evaluation.
Conclusion The research of gestational weight management has been become hotspots overseas and in China. Gestational weight management should be valued, high-quality research needs to be carried out, and localized guideline should be developed to promote normative gestational weight management at midwifery institutions in the future.
