Abstract:
In recent years, with the increasingly severe trend of an aging society, the proportion of perimenopausal women in China’s female population is gradually increasing. Metabolic changes such as obesity, dyslipidemia, and glycemic abnormalities, which occur occur due to the decrease in estrogen during this stage, have also gradually attracted considerable attention from society. Among these, metabolic syndrome (MS) seriously threatens the health and quality of life of perimenopausal women. In this paper, the effects of perimenopausal hormonal changes on the risk factors of metabolic syndrome are discussed by analyzing the perimenopausal hormonal changes and the risk factors of metabolic syndrome such as obesity, hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, hypertension and so on. The aim is to prevent the occurrence and development of metabolic syndrome by identifying high-risk factors and to reduce the incidence of adverse events associated with metabolic syndrome.
