Abstract: To analyze the usage of early diagnosis information management system and to find the insufficient,in order to provide basis for system optimization and improvement.Methods The usage of information system was analyzed;qualitative interview was used for system operation and maintenance engineers and project managers.Results All the maternal and child health institutions (MCH) of 91 district (county,city),11 municipal and a provincial in Zhejiang province,and 119 district (county,city),21 municipal and a provincial in Guangdong province were opened the early diagnosis and management information system permissions,system network covering all the MCH institutions of Zhejiang and Guangdong Province.System Construction was worth learning in multi-level demand-oriented of user,continuous function improvements and other aspects;and there are obstacles in intergrating the system with the national IPMTCT system,tracking the specimen transfer and application promotion.Conclusion The early diagnosis information management systems played an important role in promoting early infant diagnosis of HIV infection in four provinces (Fujian,Zhejiang,Hainan and Guangdong),and it was extremely important to ensure the information security in this management system.
