Abstract:
Objective To compare the condition of resources allocation and service operations before and after the integration of county maternal and child health care and family planning in 2014-2015,and in order to provide reference for health administrative departments.
Methods Questionnaire survey and field visit were used in this study,and the questionnaire was designed by Maternal and Child Health Care Center of Center for Disease Control and Prevention of China.All the 88 maternal and child health care institutions and family planning technical service institutions in Guizhou Province were enrolled in the survey.
Results In 2015,the 88 maternal and child health care (MCH) institutions in county-level (59 institutions in 2014) were belonging to the same level of health and family planning administrative departments.Compared with 2014,health and technical workers increased by 1225 at county level,and the increase rate was 35.23%;the value of fixed assets was 612.2237 million RMB,and the increase rate was 19.5%;most of the equipments were below 0.1 million RMB;the number of outpatient and emergency patients was 18.4745 billion,and the increase rate was 7.8%;the subsidy income from superior was 48.87 million RMB which increased 3 times;and research funding was1.242 million RMB,which was nearly 10 times than 2014.
Conclusion After the resources integration of county maternal and child health care and family planning,the total number of staff and workers,the number of health workers,the fixed assets,the equipment,the total income,the number of outpatient and emergency departments,and the scientific research funds in the county level of MCH institutions increased;and the level of women and children service in hospital,inpatient service,community health service and research were also enhanced,maternal and child health institutions have being fully developing.
