Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the application of neuropsychological examination screening among 0 to 3 years old infant.
Methods Stratification and random sampling method was used to select 609 infants with 0-3 years old from child psychological outpatient in the hospital during 2015 to 2016. The infants were tested by Gesell development and infant neuropsychological examination screening.
Results Among the 609 infants, 247 infants were evaluated to the positive by neuropsychological examination screening, and 212 infants were evaluated to the positive by Gesell scale. The results of sensitivity of the total samples and every months of age groups were 91. 0%, 87. 5%, 92. 6%, 95. 7%, 92. 9%, 88. 0%, 92. 0%, 92. 9% and 87. 5% respectively; False negative rate were 9. 0%, 12. 5%, 7. 4%, 4. 3%, 7. 1%, 12. 0%, 8. 0%, 7. 1% and 12. 5% respectively; Kappa value were 0. 75, 0. 68, 0. 72, 0. 77, 0. 76, 0. 74, 0. 68, 0. 86 and 0. 75 respectively. The area under the ROC curve was 0. 827 (
P< 0. 01) and 95% confidence interval was from 0. 723 to 0. 931.
Conclusion Neuropsychological examination screening among 0-3 years old infant is convenient and reliable, and it can be used widely in Fujian province after improved.
