Abstract: To summarize the mental health status and its related intervention progression of parents who have a child with ASD, ADHD, MR or any other development disorders. It was found that the mental health status of parents or the primary caregivers could directly affect whether adherence to treatment or the curative effect of children with developmental disorders. So, it is very important to pay close attention to those parents having a child with development disorders, and to take effective measures to improve their mental health, which would play an active role in promoting to improve the therapeutic effectiveness of children with development disorders.
