Abstract:
Objective To analyze the situation of papers published in the past ten years,and the papers were supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and were in the field of maternal and child health and care,and to understand the distribution of scientific research strength in the field of maternal and child health and care,such as the distribution of areas,institutions,scholars and academic hotspots.The results can provide reference for researchers in this area when applying for the National Natural Science Fund or scientific research.
Methods CNKI full-text periodicals database was used for searching bibliographic and excel software was used for analyzing.
Results A total of 453 Fund papers were published in the recent ten years,which accounting for 2.11% of the total academic papers,and about 54.3% of the papers published in the core journals.The institutions and scholars in Beijing,Shanghai,Anhui,Shanxi and Guangdong published more papers than other areas.The papers published by universities and other research institutions were the most,accounting for 70%;50.55% of the papers were gained other types of funds at the same time;15% of the first authors issued more than two papers.The papers showed the hotpots in recent years,such as subject of children,infants,physical development of primary and secondary school students,social psychology,obesity,myopia,sexual maturity,accidental injury and so on;papers also focus on reproductive health,gynecological disease screening,usage of maternal health care services of childbearing women,especially on childbearing women in rural areas.
Conclusions The papers in the area of maternal and child health and care funded by NSFC were tend to benign development in whole.Research hotspots kept the same pace with what NSFC promoted.Universities and other research institutions stand at the forefront,it is suggested medical institutions including the comprehensive hospital,maternal and child specialist,centers of disease prevention and control should seek cooperations with the university or research institutions,in order to get research progress in the field of maternal and child health care.
