Abstract:
Objective To investigate the status of pregnancy anxiety among pregnant women in Maoming City and analyze the influencing factors.
Methods From September 2012 to July 2016, 1784 pregnant women admitted to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maonan District People's Hosptial and Maoming Municipal People's Hospital were selected. The PAQ, SAI, TAI, SSRS, and SCSQ scores were used to evaluate the anxiety status of pregnant women. Details data of pregnant women were collected and the factors that influenced the state of anxiety in pregnant women were analyzed.
Results A total of 1784 pregnant women had a PAQ score of (20. 87 ± 3. 33); SAI (44. 97 ± 5. 63); TAI (40. 82 ± 4. 50); SSRS (33. 09 ± 4. 33); SCSQ (1. 87 ± 0. 25), respectively.With the increase of the gestational age of pregnant women, the PAQ, SAI, TAI, SSRS, and SCSQ scores of pregnant women showed a significant upward trend (
P<0. 05). In addition, multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that conflict between mother and father, conflict between partners, unintended pregnancy, and family monthly income < 6000 were the risk factors for anxiety during pregnancy (

P<0. 05). Pregnancy time ≥ 2 times, working during pregnancy were the protective factors for pregnancy anxiety (
OR < 1,
P<0. 05).
Conclusion Pregnant-related anxiety is common among pregnant women in Maoming City due to factors such as family environment, social environment and physical condition.
