Abstract:
Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of hand-foot-and-mouth disease(HFMD) for children under 3 years old from 2012 to 2015 in Long-gang district,Shenzhen,and to provide scientific basis for prevention.
Methods Descriptive epidemiological method was used to analyze the HFMD data of network system from 2012 to 2015 in Long-gang,Shenzhen.
Results A total of 41642 HFMD cases were reported for children under 3 years of age in Long-gang,Shenzhen,the annual average incidence rate was 6653.00/100000,29 severe cases and 0 death cases were reported in 2012-2015.There were HFMD cases reported in all communities,especially in Nan-wan and Bu-ji communities. The reported incidence was higher in boys than that in girls,and the male-female sex ratio was 1.50∶ 1.
Conclusion The incidence of HFMD increased year by year in Long-gang,more attention should be paid to prevent and control of infectious disease,and it is necessary to reinforce epidemic surveillance to prevent HFMD outbreak,especially on the scattered children and kindergarten children with 13 to 18 months.
