Abstract:
Objective The indexes of obstetric quality in Karamay from 2011 to 2015 was analyzed,this can reflect the level of obstetric services and provide evidence to improve the level of obstetric services.
Method The data of obstetric quality Annual report in Karamay during 2011 to 2015 from 4 midwifery organizations was analyzed.
Results The cesarean section rate decreased year by year,from 59.37% in 2011 decreased to 51.14% in 2015,and the average rate was 55.84%. The rate of natural births increased year by year,from 40.8% in 2011 increased to 49.09% in 2015.The average rate of preterm birth,low birth weight and macrosomia was 4.98%,3.06% and 13.82% respectively,the rate showed increasing trend in this 5 years,from 2.35%,2.86% and 12.45%in 2011 increased to 6.98%,3.84% and 14.85% in 2015 respectively. The average rate of stillbirth,perinatal mortality was 0.89‰and 6.91‰ respectively,the rate showed decreasing trend in these 5 years,from 0.84‰ and 9.27‰ in 2011 decreased to 0 and 4.66‰ in 2015 respectively. Postpartum hemorrhage was the main complications of puerperal childbirth.
Conclusion Obstetric quality of Karamay is good generally,however,effective measures need be taken to control the occurrence of premature birth,low birth weight,macrosomia and postpartum hemorrhage.
