Abstract
Objective To Analysis the levels and changes of serum iron、serum ferritin and hemoglobin of pregnant women, and explore the relationship between iron deficiency and anemiaMethods The fasting venous blood samples were collected from 438 healthy pregnant women during early pregnancy period, middle pregnancy period and late pregnancy period. The levels of serum iron, serum ferritin and hemoglobin were measured. Results The serum iron levels (95% confidence interval) in different pregnancy periods were 8.13-8.88 mmol/L, 8.00-8.26 mmol/L and 7.68-8.00 mmol/L, respectively. The serum ferritin levels (95% confidence interval) in different pregnancy periods were 44.78-65.16 ug/L, 24.14-31.11 ug/L and 13.29-16.38 ug/L, respectively. The hemoglobin levels (95% confidence interval) in different pregnancy periods were 124.48-129.29 g/L, 121.66-125.26 g/L and 119. 34-124, respectively. 26 g/L. There were 121 (27.6%) pregnant women with iron deficiency, including 64 (52.9%) anemic pregnant women. There were 318 (72. 4%) pregnant women without iron deficiency, including 43 (13.5%) anemic pregnant women. The differences between two groups had statistical significance. Conclusion By analyzing the changes of serum iron, serum ferritin and hemoglobin of pregnant women, we could know the relationship between iron deficiency and anemic, complement iron reasonably during pregnancy, and reduce the occurrence of iron-related diseases.
