Abstract
Objective To analyze the characteristics and changes of disease spectrum with Adult Internal Medicine of inpatients, to provide the basis for disease control, prevention and the rational allocation of medical resources.Methods 10301 inpatients from the department of adult internal medicine during 2013-2017 were enrolled in the study and the data in the medical record were collected.The classification and statistical analysis were based on the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10).Results Inpatients increased over the years (2013-2017). The patients were mainly pregnant women. The diseases at the top of the spectrum were:severe vomiting in pregnancy, gestational diabetes mellitus and respiratory infections.Conclusion It is necessary to monitor maternal diseases during pregnancy, to ensure maternal and child safety and lay a solid foundation for improving the health of population.
