Advances in the study of fertility sparing in patients with borderline ovarian tumors

Borderline ovarian tumor is a kind of malignant carcinoma, but it is different from invasive ovarian cancer. Patients with borderline ovarian tumors are usually in the reproductive age, and the prognosis is favorable even if there is a recurrence. Thus, the fertility sparing appears especially important. However, the safety of the fertility sparing of patients with borderline ovarian tumors is controversial. In this article, the research progress of fertility sparing in patients with borderline ovarian tumors is reviewed.
