Influence of intensive health care service intervention on physical and neurobehavioral development of infants

Objective To explore the effect of intensive health care intervention on promoting physical and neurobehavioral development of infants.Methods Eighty-four infants in our hospital from April 2016 to November 2017 were enrolled. According to the random number table method, they were divided into two groups, 42 cases each. The control group received routine health care services, and the observation group received intensive health care services. The physical development and neurobehavioral development of the two groups were compared.Results Compared with the control group, the infants' weight, height, head circumference and Denver Infant Development Scale (DDST) scores were higher in the observation group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Intensive health care intervention can effectively promote the physical and neurobehavioral development of infants.
