A case report of congenital skin loss in Yunfu city,Guangdong province

Objective To investigate the clinical treatment and wound management of congenital skin defects among newborns.Methods The ydrophilic silver ion dressing and thin self-adhesive foam dressing were used to promote the automatic dissolution of necrotic tissue. Then,the necrotic tissue was removed,and alginate dressing was used to continue to absorb the seepage. Finally,the thin self-adhesive foam dressing was used on the outer layer to protect the newborn skin tissue.Results All the defective skin was in good condition,reached the normal skin state,and no abnormal scar tissue was found. The children were in good mental and health condition.Conclusion Early diagnosis,reasonable treatment and nursing can make newborn congenital skin defect have good prognosis.
