Analysis on the equity and status of obstetrical health recourse allocation in Guizhou province

Objective To analyze the equity and status in the allocation of obstetrical health resource in Guizhou Province,and to provide decision-making basis for the allocation of obstetrical health resources in health administrative departments.Methods Descriptive study,Lorenz curve and Gini coefficient were used to evaluate the equity of obstetrical health resource allocation.Results In general,the total amount of obstetrical health resources in Guizhou Province is insufficient. The structure is irrational unreasonable and there are great differences between regions. The Gini coefficient of obstetrical health resources according to the amount of delivery was less than 0. 2,and it suggested a comparatively fair status. The Gini coefficient according to geographical area was between 0. 2 and 0. 4. and it suggested a poor fair status in Guizhou Province.Conclusions It is necessary to accelerate the adjustment and expansion of the optimal allocation and rational allocation of obstetrical health resources to ensure the fairness of the allocation of obstetrical health resources.
