The detection rates in rural areas were higher than that in urban areas(P<0.05).Conclusion The health management of children in Huaihua City has gradually improved.,and the main health indicators have met or exceeded the target requirements of the Outline for Child Development(2010-2020). However, the rate of exclusive breastfeeding is lower than the basic level of Hunan Province. Although the health status of children in Huaihua City maintains at a high level, but the difference between urban and rural areas is still great.
