Clinical research progress on comorbidities of type 2 diabetes and gynecological malignancies

Diabetes is closely related to the occurrence and development of tumors. The two complement each other and aggravate each other,which brings difficulties to the diagnosis and treatment of tumors,seriously affects the treatment effect,and causes more complications. In recent years,many studies have shown that metformin has a good antitumor effect and is expected to play a huge role in the prevention and treatment of gynecological malignancies. This article reviewed the correlation between type 2 diabetes and the development of gynecological malignancies,as well as the clinical diagnosis and treatment progress,and explored the relevant mechanisms of metformin suppression.
