Telemedicine service model and practice from the perspective of Guizhou maternal and child health specialist alliance

  • Objective The purpose of this article is by introducing the model of telemedicine service, to implement hierarchical diagnosis and treatment, and two-way referral services, to provide suggestions for the development of telemedicine service, and in order to improve the health service capacity of women and children in primary medical institutions. Methods Guizhou Maternal and Child Health Specialty network platform was used, and telemedicine service mode was used as the tool. Results Through the telemedicine service platform, the technical support and manpower training have been realized, and the medical service capacity has been improved.The telemedicine activities such as hierarchical diagnosis and treatment, two-way referral, distance education and health consultation services have achieved remarkable effects. Conclusion The establishment of the telemedicine service system has improved the service capacity of primary medical institutions.
