  • With social development and medical improvement, maternal mortality rates and infant mortality rates have dropped significantly, but maternal mental health status is not optimistic. Maternal mental health is not only of great importance to maternal health, but also has profound and long term impact on children's physical and mental health. This paper reviews and summarizes the influence of stress, anxiety, depression and other common psychological disorders during pregnancy and childbirth on offspring, and finds that the influence of adverse mental state during pregnancy and childbirth on offspring runs through the stage of fetus, infants, children and even adolescents, and it is manifested in their psychological development, physical development and diseases.
