Analysis of ureaplasma urealyticum and chlamydia trachomatis infection among 200 HPV positive women in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

  • Objective To analyze coinfection of human papilloma virus(HPV) positive patients with ureaplasma urealyticum(UU) and chlamydia trachomatis(CT) infections and explore their relationships, and further analyze the pathogenic mechanism of HPV infection in patients with cervical cancer in order to provide clinical guidance for early prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer. Methods Totally 4 304 patients' exfoliated cervical cell samples were collected from 2019-2021 at gynecological outpatient clinic, Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Of those, 854 cases were HPV 16, 18 and other high-risk genotype positive, and 200 HPV positive cases were randomly selected from them. HPV-DNA, UU-DNA and CT-DNA were detected by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR). The positive rates of different pathogens were calculated and analyzed. Results The percentage of other high-risk HPV infection types(31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59,66 and 68, referred to as Others), 16, 18, 18 + Others and 16 + Others were 78. 5%, 9. 0%, 5. 5%, 5. 0% and 2. 0%,respectively. UU and CT positive rates were 67. 0% and 12. 0% respectively. The positive rate of UU + CT was 11. 0%. Among HPV high-risk type groups, the group with the highest positive rate of UU was 16 + Others. The highest positive rates of CT and UU + CT were all 18 + Others group. The highest rate of mixed HPV and UU infection was in the group of age below 30 among different age groups. The highest rates of HPV mixed with CT and UU + CT infection were in the group of age below 30 among different age groups, and the infection rate decreased with the increasing of age. Conclusion The positive rate of mixed infection of UU and CT pathogens in female HPV positive patients is relatively high. It is suggested that the combined screening and CT pathogens should be carried out in women with HPV infection. The group of age below 30 is the main high-risk group, which should be paid attention to disease prevention.
