Monitoring and intervention of sleep disorders in children with autism spectrum disorder

The incidence of sleep disorders in children with autism Spectrum disorders(ASD) is higher than that of ordinary children. Sleep disorders will affect children's cognitive ability, and development of parent-child and family relationship, and lead to the increase of emotional behavior problems. This article describes the characteristics of sleep disorders in children with ASD,elaborates its evaluation methods, and summarizes its monitoring and intervention so as to provide reference for improving sleep disorders in children with ASD.
