Abstract
Based on the “structure-process-result” theory, this paper discusses the practice and implementation effects of the maternal and child health education model in Hunan Province, aiming at providing evidence for continuous improvement of maternal and child health education. This model emphasizes strengthening the construction and management of pregnancy schools in the whole province, optimizing health education and training, carrying out advocacy activities, and promoting the integration of health education with the management of maternal and child public health projects. Based on effect analysis, the maternal and child health education model in the jurisdiction of Hunan Province runs properly, and the quality of maternal and child health education has gradually improved. But problems still exist in terms of insufficient health education network and low quality of health education work. It is recommended to strengthen the construction of specialties, display management and radiation effect, transform work concept, guide participation of all health professionals, and further optimize the participation model of health education, and pay attention to long-term effects.
