Abstract
This study introduces and explores the theoretical system, management and operation mechanism, working mode and service connotation of the integration of health care and clinical work in maternal and child health(MCH) care institutions, in order to provide a theoretical evidence and practical model for the implementation of MCH work principles, standardized construction and management in MCH care institutions. The research points out that the application of ‘three-tier prevention’ and ‘full life-cycle health management theory’ in MCH care institutions is the basis for integrating health care and clinical service, and it should be achieved in primary, secondary and tertiary prevention. As for hierarchical management, the integrated institutional management mechanism of health care and clinical service should be reflected at decision-making, control and executive levels. At the same time, the integration of health care and clinical service quality should be achieved in the implementation of total quality management in terms of structure, process, and result quality.
