Research on construction of whole process informatization based on maternal and child population health management

This study is based on information system construction of maternal and child health (MCH) care in Nanjing MCH Care Hospital. It illustrates the development of hospital MCH management information system focusing on women and children health care with the help of information technology. Through the process reengineering of hospital MCH information system, it analyzes the key aspect of information system module which needs to be reformed under process reconstruction. A new model is proposed to improve medical care experience of women and children. It further strengthens medical quality and safety of the hospital to enhance patient satisfaction and achieve information-based closed-loop management of diagnosis and treatment in order to provide evidence for other MCH care hospitals to carry out health management for women and children inside and outside the hospital.
