Research on the current status of training teachers in training programs of the training program for children's health care workers in poor areas

Objective According to the investigation of the current status of training teachers in training programs of the training program for children's health care workers in poor areas to explore the existing problems, and to put forward the improvement measures.Methods All of the teachers and students who participated in the training program in 2015 were recruited by cluster sampling and conducted a questionnaire survey.Results A total of 154 teachers were investigated.The male to female ratio was 1:3.3.The average age was (36.6±9.4) years old.Educational background was mainly based on bachelor's degree.Technical qualification and years of services of the participants were lower and shorter.There was lack of the teachers with background of maternal and child health care and clinical practice.There was no statistically significant difference in the assessment of theoretical teaching and clinical practice between the students and teachers (P>0.05).The assessment of the teacher's teaching ability and training effect from the students was better.Conclusions It is important to select the training teachers.It is necessary to strictly follow the document requirements to select the suitable training teachers according to the students' actual situations and training requirements.
