Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical value of iron protein succinylate combined with vitamin C and B6 on the treatment of iron deficiency anemia in children. Methods A total of 92 children with iron deficiency anemia admitted into our center from April2016 to May 2017 were selected as the research objects. They were randomly divided into control group and the observation group. Each group had 46 cases. The children in the control group were treated with iron protein succinylate. The children in the observation group were treated with iron protein succinylate combined with vitamin C and B6. The treatment effects and the changes of iron metabolism indexes in the two groups were observed. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group and the control group was 91.30% and 76.09%, respectively. The difference between in the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in iron metabolism indexes in the two groups before the treatment. However, the iron metabolism indexes improved after the treatment. The serum irons (SI), transferrin saturation (TSAT) and serum ferritin (SF) in the observation group were higher than those in the control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of iron deficiency anemia in children, the application of the iron protein succinylate combined with vitamin C and B6 can enhance the therapeutic effect and improve the Iron metabolism indexes in children. It is worth to be widely applied in the clinic.
