Current status of psychological abuse and neglect of children and its adverse impacts

Along with the deepening research on children abuse,people continue to gain more in-depth understanding of this issue.The psychological abuse and neglect of children can lead to children's behavioral and cognitive abnormalities,and emotional impairment.It can also affect their mental health and even lead to self-mutilation,suicide and other serious consequences.Therefore,this is a serious public health problem.This study describes the epidemic status of psychological abuse and neglect of children,discusses the adverse impacts on children's mental health,and explores the measures for prevention and intervention so as to provide strong support to promote the development of children's physical and mental health.
