Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of azithromycin sequential therapy on children with mycoplasma pneumonia in symptomatic improvementand security.Methods During February 2015 to August 2016,100 children who was diagnosed with mycoplasma pneumoniain in Maternal and child health hospital of Guangdong province were selected,and they were divided into azithromycin group and erythromycin group by random numbers according their number for see the doctor,each 50 cases in each group,the azithromycin group were treated with azithromycin,and the erythromycin group were treated with erythromycin,and the effect,extinction time of the clinical symptoms,hospital stays and adverse reaction were compared between the two groups.Results The effective rate of azithromycin group was 95%,which was higher than that in erythromycin group(55.0%). The extinction time of rale,cough and fever was shorter in azithromycin group than those in erythromycin group,and the time of hospital stays and adverse reaction were also shorter in azithromycin group than those in erythromycin group(P<0.05).Conclusion Azithromycin sequential therapy can remit the clinic symptomatic of children with mycoplasma pneumonia,and the method had the characteristic of fast effect,short the time of hospital stays and decrease the adverse reaction,it is worthy of clinical application.
