Abstract
Objective To explore the important role of community children health care physicians in the early screening of children with developmental hip dysplasia (DDH).Methods A statistical analysis of 1206 children who underwent regular physical examination in Jinggang community health service center from March 2015 to December 2017 was conducted.Results Among the screened 1206 infants and young children, there are 31 cases (2. 57%) infants with hip dysplasia, including 26 grirls (4. 03%), and 5 boys (0. 89%). The DDH detection rate of girls was significantly higher than that of boys (P < 0. 001).Conclusions Early screening of hip joint in children's physical examination is of great significance in the early diagnosis and early treatment of DDH. It greatly improves the treatment rate of DDH. Community children's health care physicians play an important role in early screening of developmental hip dysplasia.
