Analysis of bone mineral density situation of 605 perimenopausal women

Objective To analyze the bone mineral density (BMD) of 605 perimenopausal women in the women's health department in Hunan Women and Children's Health Care Hospital and to explore the effect of age, weight and body mass index on the BMD of women in perimenopausal period.Methods The double energy BMD (DEXA) was used to detect the lumbar spine and hip bone density of 605 perimenopausal women i., The data of age, height, weight, body mass index were analyze.Results The rate of bone loss and osteoporosis increased with age. There was statistically significant difference among different age groups (P< 0.05).Conclusion Age, weight and body mass index can affect the bone mineral density of women in perimenopolis.
