Postoperative care effect of psychological intervention on myomectomy patients

Abstract
Objective To investigate the postoperative care influence of psychological intervention on myomectomy patients,in order to improve the quality of nursing and promote patients recovery early.Method 126 patients who were carried out laparoscopic myomectomy treatment in Shenzhen Hospital of Southern Medical University during March 2014 to April 2015 were selected and divided into two groups randomly.The control group was given primary care;the intervention group was given psychological intervention basing on the primary care.The indexes were compared between the two groups,such as VAS score after operating,postoperative complications,hospital stay,SCL-90 scores as well as patients satisfaction.Results Compared with control group,intervention group had lower level in VAS score,the incidence of postoperative symptoms and length of hospital stay (P<0.05),and the patients satisfaction were significantly increased (P<0.05).SCL90 scores showed that the intervention can significantly decrease (P<0.05) patients' anxiety and depression in postoperative and improve their sleep quality.Conclusion Psychological intervention on myomectomy patients with post-operative care can relieve their anxiety,depression and other negative emotions,improve postoperative care quality and promote patients recovery early.
