Abstract
Objective To explore the influence of delayed ligation of umbilical cord for immune function of infants. Methods From October 2015 to March 2016,1000 neonates who delivery normally in maternal and child health care hospital of Shenzhen were selected as research objects, and they were divided into observation group and control group by the random number table.500 cases in control group were underwent the conventional ligation of umbilical cord (< 10s),while 500 cases in observation group were given the delayed ligation of umbilical cord (45-60 s).The changes of humoral immune function and cellular immune function between the two groups were compared in the birth and 6 months.Result The difference between the two groups on birth in immune function of immunoglobulin M (IgM),immunoglobulin G (IgG),immunoglobulin A (IgA) and other humoral immunity were no statistically significant (P>0.05).At 6 months of birth, there was no difference in IgM and IgA between the two groups (P>0.05).The content of IgG in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).At birth, there was no significant difference in CD4+,CD8+and CD4+/CD8+between the two groups (P>0.05).At 6 months of birth, the differences of CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+between the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The delayed umbilical cord ligation can improve the humoral and cellular immune function in infants, thus it has certain clinical value.
